♥ If you follow my blog, then you know that I am a wedding photographer who wants to help you to capture the Best Wedding Photos that you can. As a novice photographer, I admit that I made a few mistakes. Now, with my years of experience, I do everything I can to avoid them. To keep you from having any disappointment or regret from not having the photos you want – here are some tips:
Here are 3 MORE Ways to Avoid Wedding Day Stress:
- Shot List
When I was new to wedding photography, I made the mistake of not encouraging and helping my couples to make a shot list. I remember, early on, that a bride wanted a picture with her ailing Grandmother and I agreed. On her wedding day this didn’t happen because her Grandmother wasn’t near us and in all the commotion this photo didn’t happen. Now, I make it a priority for couples to think about and write a list so that I have it with me and get the shots that will lead to cherished memories.
- Rest
Sleep well and drink lots of water on the days leading up to your wedding day. Best Wedding photos show you looking your best…so avoid the stag and doe the night before or a late night reception. It may seem like fun to stay up all night with your closest friends – but your wedding day photos are for a lifetime…so be rested and refreshed!
- Don’t Panic!
Every couple wants their day to go without a hitch – but this generally doesn’t happen. The flower girl pushes the ring bearer, the best man can’t find the rings…these candid moments can turn into great memories to look back on. Something will go wrong – but plan ahead and avoid as much of the unexpected as possible. If you are planning an outdoor wedding, find out where it can be held in the event of the weather not cooperating. If you are trying new foods at the venue – make sure you have allergy pills. If you are prepared then you won’t have to panic – everyone is there to make your day the best it can be.
Remember to take care of yourself and try not to stress – your day will be amazing and the photos will be lifelong memories.
