I find it helpful when a couple plan their wedding day with photography requirements and needs in mind. On average, for example, it takes about 4-7 minutes to produce a group portrait of ten people. If you plan on having ten family portraits during your wedding day you need at least an hour. Otherwise, your photographer will feel pressured to deliver and you might be rushed.
